The holiday season. (late, I know…)
The reason for no recent updates is because I was quite busy at the time (playing Team Fortress 2 and installing minecraft mods xD). Anyway, I downloaded and installed 2 mods (for minecraft), and theyre both brilliant.
Fist I downloaded the Humans+ mod, which adds friendly and not-so-friendly NPCs to the game world. This mainly adds a bit of life and culture to the world, although it has a big downsidfe and a bg upside. The downside is you now have powerful daytime mobs which can spawn on the first day (very annoying). The upside is that its much easier to get certain items early on in the game because the NPCs drop them. It would be nice if the humans themselves did some more, though.
The second (and much superior, I think) mod was the Mo’ Animals mod, which many Minecraft players use, I believe. It is AWESOME. It’s so much better to see a huge, varied amount of creatures wandering across the game world, and multicolored birds nesting in a tree, which fly away when you come near. There’s also a variety of horses to tame, a block-destroying mob (ogres, I haven’t seen them in action though), and werewolves. That’s right. And they’re damn creepy, especially when one sneaks into my house when I’m not looking (!). Happened to me.
Anyway, I strongly recommended you install those mods. It’s not hard, use Risugami’s mod loader. Anyway… thanks fort reading! :D
